El Paso County officials have rescheduled its Flood Preparedness Town Hall for residents of Chipita Park and Cascade for Monday, April 22 at Ute Pass Elementary at 6:30 PM. This comes after Tuesday’s planned meeting was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Currently scheduled meetings and events to address flood risk and preparedness for residents near the Waldo Canyon burn scar:

April 13: Sandbag distribution, Verizon Wireless Building (City of Colorado Springs); 9a-4p
April 22: Town hall meeting for residents of Chipita Park and Cascade; Ute Pass Elementary; 6:30-8:30 PM
April 15: Town hall meeting for Manitou Springs residents; Manitou Springs City Hall; 6:30 PM
April 24: Town hall meeting for Manitou Springs residents; Manitou Springs City Hall; 6:30 PM
