Howdy y’all! My name is Tex, and I’m a 3-year-old Australian cattle dog. I’m the rootin’-tootin’-est dog you’ll ever meet! I would love to be your forever ‘pardner.’ I listen very well and am submissive with humans, although there are some dogs that I’d like to think I’m dominant over. I don’t mind cats or kids, but small children make strange, loud noises and I’m a little unsure of them still. I will share my food even if I don’t really want to. I’m good in the car and I like toys and playing with other dogs a whole bunch! I may have a bit of separation anxiety and might whine or chew on things when you leave me alone, but with a bit of training and your guidance, I can overcome it. A variety of toys and a fair amount of exercise ought to be just the ticket! I would love to follow you around forever… Can we ride off into the sunset together?
My adoption fee is $130 and includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, 45 days of pet health insurance, and a microchip. I am at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region’s offsite adoption location at Camp Bow Wow East. The address is 1020 Ford Street Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
