Hi! I’m Leonardo (call me Leo), a 6-year-old neutered buff short-hair. When I first came to HSPPR in early January, I had a large wound on my neck. During my medical exam, HSPPR veterinarians also found that I needed a great deal of dental work done to put me in tip top shape. I had six teeth that were rotten and were causing me some pain. Those nice people pulled all six of them, and the rest of my teeth got a thorough cleaning. I’ve been in foster care recovering, but now I’m happy and healthy and ready to find a new home! I am very smart and very friendly. I don’t love being held; I prefer attention on my own terms, but if you need a friendly Sidekick to help you through your days, I’m your boy! I absolutely love to chat and tell you all about my day, and I also give high-fives on occasion!
My adoption fee is $68 and includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, 45 days of pet health insurance, and a microchip. I am available for adoption at Pet City in the Chapel Hills mall, HSPPR’s offsite adoption location!
