The Magical History Tour: Old Colorado City Edition

The GPS-enabled mobile app, designed for Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and was developed to allow the user to take a self-guided, walking tour. It presents the 1859 origin of Colorado City and early El Paso County, including a historical overview, informational highlights, story text, map, resources, and early photographs pulled from the history center’s photo archive. With fourteen historical point-of-interest sites, the Global Positioning System feature will guide visitors from one point-of-interest to the next.
