Though the presidential race is the big news item this election year, voters in El Paso County will also consider two tax measures that could have a significant impact on the Pikes Peak region. KRCC’s Michelle Mercer reports.

    The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority has funded almost all of the significant improvements in our regional transportation, transit, and trails since 2004. Extending it by voting for 5A on this November’s ballot (on the back of the ballot if you received it in the mail) will allow us to complete up to another 150 key projects by 2024.
