Round-Up: State economy stalls; Federal and state officials come together for Rio Grande watershed

Colorado’s economy is weak and losing momentum according to a revenue forecast released today. State economists say violence in the Middle East, the recession in Europe, and a lack of personal spending are all driving the lackluster growth…

A new conservation plan to help the Rio Grande watershed is getting the backing of state and federal officials. U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Colorado Agriculture Commissioner John Salazar say they’ll work with local governments and landowners to protect air and water quality and prevent erosion.
