What are the qualities to be a warrior soldier effective in war and maybe life? As an Army Nurse, I recall the mantra that we had to Be: both physically and mentally tough and ready. That meant passing rigorous physical training and being emotionally and mentally sharp. Never did a superior or or peer tell me a warrior had to be male or discuss sexual preferences in regards to readiness or military job performance.
