Democrats are convening in Charlotte, North Carolina this week for their party’s convention, and Governor John Hickenlooper will be among a half dozen Coloradans speaking. Durango Herald reporter Joe Hanel is there and also covered the Republican National Convention last week. Bente Birkeland caught up with him to get his take on both gatherings.
