Round-Up: Firefighters’ heart health; Gill Foundation donates building to RMPBS

President Obama recently issued a directive to extend federal health insurance to all seasonal wildland firefighters. Pushed to the max in stressful situations, firefighters face a risk of sudden cardiac death that is three times higher than the rest of the population…

The Gill Foundation this morning announced a $1.3 million gift to Rocky Mountain PBS by donating its Colorado Springs building to the media outlet.
