The Pikes Peak Library District set up a laptop lab at the Red Cross Evacuation Center at Cheyenne Mountain High School to assist evacuees in accessing vital information and keeping in touch with friends and family. We spoke with Clifton Medford and Jocelyne Sansing from the Pikes Peak Library District and Catherine Barde of the Pikes Peak Red Cross. The laptops will remain, free to use for evacuees, as long as the shelter remains active. The above video also contains video of the Waldo Canyon Fire taken near Garden of the Gods.

PPLD has created a Waldo Canyon Fire resource page on their website for all residents of the Pikes Peak region to quickly access information regarding the fire and various resources available to those affected and/or displaced by the fire in addition to information for those interested in opportunities to assist organizations on the front lines of fighting the fire and providing services to affected members of our community.
