A major exhibition of Colorado artist Terry Maker’s work is currently on display at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center through June 3rd, 2012. Reckoning combines a staggering representation of varied process and scale – from a giant snake made of shredded money to the delicately precise candied cross sections – Maker displays her unique perspective on the sublime via objects ordinary. We spoke with FAC curator Blake Milteer and the artist herself. You can find more details about the exhibit by visiting the FAC’s website, HERE.

    Great piece. Love the music.

The art work is very original and creative. The artists’ conceptional ideas seem wonderfully witty. An actual gallery visit would be nice.
