Colorado College Drama professor, Clinton Turner Davis directs the second play of August Wilson’s 20th century cycle of plays. Wilson, not only one of 20th century’s most prolific playwrights, he is regarded by many as America’s greatest. We spoke with Davis about the genius of August Wilson and specifically about Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, a play set in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in the 1920’s.

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone runs through February 19th at the Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theatre at THEATREWORKS, more information, HERE.

[Full Disclosure: THEATREWORKS is an underwriter of KRCC’s The Big Something.]
