Each year, the Navigators at Glen Eyrie present a truly unique holiday offering, the madrigal banquet at the former residence of Colorado Springs’ founder, William Jackson Palmer. The banquet was the brainchild of Springs resident Dave McIntosh who has been transforming the castle into a middle-ages holiday wonderland and feasting hall for the past 20 some years with the help of countless volunteers. Come along on this video journey as we speak with McIntosh about the madrigal banquet and take a sneak peak at the mellifluous, multi-course banquet.

For information on dates, times and tickets on the banquet and other unique holiday events at the casle, you can visit Glen Eyrie on the web,

One Response to Christmas at the Castle

  1. Mary Heimerman says:

My husband and I attended this, and stayed in one of the castle rooms afterwards too. It was a wonderful and romantic special date. It is expensive, but I thought well worth the money. You will never forget it.
