The state’s cantaloupe farmers say they fear it will take time for people to feel safe eating Rocky Ford melons again because of the deadly listeria outbreak linked to one farm in eastern Colorado. The Food and Drug Administration said today that melons at Jensen Farms in Holly were likely contaminated in a packing house at the farm that was using difficult-to-clean secondhand equipment…and, Democratic members of Congress testified today in the state’s redistricting trial. They support proposed changes that would inevitably lead to making a safe Republican seat more competitive.
