The late and much beloved Gerry Riggs, former director of the gallery of contemporary art at UCCS is remembered by Daisy McConnell, Atomic Elroy and Holly Parker on the eve of a kick-off event for an exhibition fund in his name. Atomic Elroy provided the following video documenting the famous Art Police action whereby the Cowboy Hank statue in downtown Colorado Springs was magically disappeared.

The official kick-off event for the Gerry Riggs Exhibition Fund will take place on Friday, May 13 at 5:30 pm at GOCA1420 (the campus gallery) at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.  You can learn more about the event and the exhibition fund by visiting GOCA’s website HERE.
