Pueblo City Council plans to send a letter opposing the proposed closure of Fort Lyon Correctional Facility near Las Animas (Chieftain). Council has also postponed a decision on funding renovations to the Pueblo Motorsports Park (Chieftain).

Las Animas and Huerfano County Commissioners question the District Attorney’s budget (Trinidad Times-Independent). The Arkansas River Power Authority is accused of not upholding open meeting laws (Trinidad Times-Independent).
