Governor John Hickenlooper spent the day in southeast Colorado yesterday, and met with local officials to talk about his proposed closure of the Fort Lyon Correctional Facility in Bent County, the Pueblo Chieftain reports…and, Congress has postponed a partisan showdown that could have led to a government shut down. House Republicans and Senate Democrats now have until March 18th to negotiate a compromise.
