The effects of the recession in Colorado are worse than originally thought (Denver Post). Colorado’s senators look for a written commitment from the Army saying they’re not looking to expand the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site (Chieftain, Trinidad Times-Independent).

In Colorado Springs, D-11 school officials deal with having to make $13 million in cuts for the 2011-2012 school year (Gazette).
