The Colorado Springs’ City Council heard from officials on a proposed homeless camping ordinance (Gazette, KKTV, KRDO), and are scheduled to vote on the ordinance today (KOAA). Yesterday, council also heard a proposal aimed at regulating medical marijuana (Gazette, KRDO, KOAA). In El Paso County,Sheriff Terry Maketa has changed his mind and decided to run for another term (Gazette, KKTV, KRDO, KOAA).

In Pueblo, the Chieftain reports on the opening of a new East Side satellite police substation, and on Fountain Creek standards, and supporters of those new standards.
